3. SERVICE APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING
All service appointments are subject to confirmation by Bright Fix.
Customers must provide accurate contact information, service addresses, equipment details, and a reasonable description of the requested service.
Urgent service requests may be accommodated depending on technician availability.
Same-day service is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by Bright Fix.

Customers will be notified of scheduling changes as soon as reasonably possible.
4. DIAGNOSTICS, INSPECTIONS AND ESTIMATES
Diagnostic or inspection fees, when applicable, will be disclosed before scheduling.
Estimates are based on the information available and the equipment condition at the time of evaluation.
Additional problems discovered during service may require a revised estimate.
Bright Fix will obtain customer authorization before performing additional chargeable work.
Diagnostic findings reflect the equipment condition observed during the inspection and do not guarantee that every existing or future defect has been identified.
Any credit of diagnostic fees toward an approved repair must be expressly stated in the estimate or service agreement.
INSTALLATION SERVICES
5. APPLIANCE AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS
Bright Fix provides installation services for eligible residential and commercial appliances, water heaters, 120V wall units, and 120V mini split systems.
All installations are subject to technical feasibility, applicable licensing requirements, and the approved scope of work.
5.1 Installation Estimates
Installation prices are determined according to equipment type, installation requirements, existing connections, accessibility, and any necessary materials or additional labor.
The customer will receive information regarding applicable charges before authorizing the installation.
Any additional work must be approved before additional charges are incurred.
5.2 Customer-Provided Appliances
Customers may provide appliances or equipment purchased from third-party retailers or suppliers.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that independently purchased equipment is suitable for the intended installation location.
Bright Fix is not responsible for manufacturing defects, missing manufacturer-supplied components, or equipment incompatibility that was not caused by Bright Fix, except as required by applicable law.
5.3 Existing Electrical and Plumbing Connections
Installation services generally assume that existing electrical, plumbing, drainage, and other required connections are safe, compatible, and suitable for the equipment being installed.
If existing connections require modifications, Bright Fix will inform the customer before proceeding.
Additional modifications are not included unless expressly stated in the approved estimate.
Work requiring specialized licensing, permits, or other authorization will only be performed when legally permitted and appropriately authorized.
5.4 Additional Installation Materials
Additional materials, replacement components, electrical or plumbing modifications, and other work outside the original estimate may result in additional charges.
No additional chargeable work will be performed without customer authorization.
5.5 Unsafe Installation Conditions
Bright Fix may postpone or decline an installation when unsafe connections, incompatible equipment, structural concerns, or other unsuitable conditions are identified.
Customers will be informed of material issues that prevent safe installation.
5.6 Installation Testing
When technically feasible, Bright Fix will perform an operational check following installation.
Successful installation testing does not guarantee that equipment will remain free from manufacturing defects, component failures, or unrelated future problems.
5.7 Installation Warranty
Any installation workmanship warranty must be identified in the applicable estimate, invoice, or written service agreement.
Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
REPAIR SERVICES
6. APPLIANCE AND EQUIPMENT REPAIRS
Bright Fix provides repair services for eligible appliances and equipment according to the approved scope of work.
6.1 Repair Authorization
Customers must approve the repair estimate before chargeable repair work begins.
The estimate will identify the proposed repair and applicable charges.
6.2 Replacement Parts
Replacement parts may be necessary to complete a repair.
Parts, materials, and labor charges will be disclosed before the customer authorizes the work.
Parts availability may affect repair completion times.
6.3 Additional Equipment Problems
During a repair, additional mechanical or electrical problems may be discovered.
Bright Fix will notify the customer when additional work is recommended.
Additional chargeable repairs require separate authorization.
6.4 Equipment Age and Condition
Equipment age, previous repairs, corrosion, normal wear, and pre-existing damage may affect repair feasibility and performance.
Repairing one identified problem does not guarantee that unrelated components will remain operational.
6.5 Unrepairable Equipment
If equipment cannot reasonably or safely be repaired, Bright Fix may recommend replacement or alternative solutions.
Previously authorized diagnostic services remain subject to their agreed payment terms.
6.6 Repair Warranty
Any workmanship or replacement-part warranty must be disclosed in writing.
Warranty coverage is limited to the terms expressly provided in the applicable service agreement, subject to applicable law.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES
7. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Bright Fix provides preventive maintenance services designed to help maintain equipment performance, identify potential problems, and reduce avoidable equipment deterioration.
Maintenance procedures depend on the equipment type, condition, and selected service.
Preventive maintenance does not guarantee that equipment will never malfunction.
Corrective repairs and replacement parts are not included unless expressly stated in the approved service description.
Additional services require a separate estimate and customer authorization.
8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers agree to provide:
- Safe and reasonable access to equipment.
- Necessary utilities when required for service.
- Accurate information regarding known equipment problems.
- A reasonably clear work area.
- Any required landlord, property-owner, condominium, or building authorization.
Customers must disclose known safety concerns and relevant previous repairs.
Bright Fix may suspend or decline service when unsafe conditions prevent the work from being performed safely.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PLANS
9. MAINTENANCE PLAN PROGRAM
Bright Fix offers preventive maintenance plans designed to help residential and commercial customers maintain eligible appliances and equipment.
Plans may vary according to equipment coverage, included maintenance procedures, number of scheduled visits, contract duration, and pricing.
Each plan is governed by its individual description and the conditions disclosed at enrollment.
Bright Fix may introduce additional maintenance plans, including plans offering different service frequencies, equipment combinations, or pricing structures.
New plans will be subject to their respective terms and conditions.
Changes to an existing customer's agreement require any notice or consent mandated by the agreement or applicable law.
10. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the selected plan, annual maintenance agreements have a contractual duration of twelve (12) months.
The total annual contract price is payable through twelve (12) monthly installments.
The monthly payment arrangement does not convert the agreement into a month-to-month subscription.
Before enrollment, customers will be informed of:
- Total annual contract price.
- Monthly installment amount.
- Contract start and expiration dates.
- Covered appliances or equipment.
- Number of included maintenance visits.
- Included preventive maintenance procedures.
- Applicable exclusions.
- Cancellation and refund conditions.
The individual plan description forms part of the customer's agreement.
11. MAINTENANCE VISIT FREQUENCY
The number of maintenance visits included in each plan will be specified in the selected plan description.
Plans may include one or more preventive maintenance visits during the contractual period.
Customers are entitled only to the number of visits expressly included in their selected plan.
Additional maintenance visits may be purchased separately, subject to an approved estimate.
12. MAINTENANCE VISIT SCHEDULING
Customers may request their included maintenance visits at any time during the applicable contract period, subject to the number and frequency of visits specified in their selected plan.
Appointments must be mutually agreed upon between the customer and Bright Fix.
Scheduling is subject to technician availability.
Customers are not required to complete a minimum number of monthly payments before requesting an eligible maintenance visit, provided their account is in good standing.
Bright Fix will make reasonable efforts to accommodate maintenance requests within the contract period.
Customers are encouraged to request appointments sufficiently in advance of the contract expiration date.
If Bright Fix cannot provide a contracted visit within the applicable period, the customer will retain any refund, cancellation, or other remedies provided under these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
13. MAINTENANCE PLAN COVERAGE
Each maintenance plan covers only the appliances, equipment, and preventive procedures expressly identified in its individual description.
Unless specifically included, maintenance plans do not cover:
- Corrective repairs.
- Replacement parts.
- Equipment replacement.
- Unrelated diagnostic visits.
- Pre-existing mechanical or electrical failures.
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, flooding, or external electrical problems.
- Equipment not included in the selected plan.
- Additional services outside the agreed maintenance scope.
Additional work requires customer authorization.
14. MONTHLY PAYMENTS
Customers agree to pay the monthly installment specified in their maintenance agreement.
Payments will be collected according to the billing schedule disclosed at enrollment.
The annual contract price and monthly installments will remain as agreed during the contract term unless a lawful, mutually authorized modification is made.
Any applicable taxes or additional charges must be disclosed before enrollment.
15. MISSED OR LATE PAYMENTS
If a monthly installment becomes overdue, Bright Fix may contact the customer to arrange payment.
Future maintenance appointments may be suspended when permitted by the written agreement and applicable law.
Any late fees or collection charges must be disclosed in advance and legally permitted.
Bright Fix will not impose undisclosed financial penalties.
MAINTENANCE PLAN CANCELLATION POLICY
16. EARLY CANCELLATION BEFORE RECEIVING MAINTENANCE
Customers may request cancellation of their maintenance agreement before receiving any included preventive maintenance service.
If no contracted maintenance service has been performed, Bright Fix will not charge the customer for a maintenance visit that was never provided.
Payments collected for unperformed maintenance services will be reconciled and refunded as applicable under the agreement and law.
No separate early termination penalty will be imposed under this policy.
17. EARLY CANCELLATION AFTER RECEIVING MAINTENANCE
If a customer requests cancellation after receiving an included maintenance service, Bright Fix may calculate the outstanding balance based on the separately disclosed and agreed individual price of the maintenance service already performed.
All payments previously credited toward that service will be deducted from the amount owed.
The calculation will be:
Agreed individual maintenance service price − Payments credited toward that service = Outstanding service balance.
The outstanding service balance cannot be less than zero.
No duplicate charges will be imposed for the same service.
For plans that include multiple maintenance visits, any settlement will be based on the individual prices of the visits actually completed and the payments credited toward those services, as specified in the plan agreement.
No separate percentage-based early termination penalty will apply.
Any outstanding balance or refund remains subject to applicable law.
18. MAINTENANCE SERVICE NOT PROVIDED DURING THE CONTRACT PERIOD
If a customer's maintenance agreement reaches its expiration date and the contracted maintenance services have not been provided, the customer may request closure of the agreement without an early termination penalty.
The customer will not be required to pay remaining installments attributable to maintenance services that were not performed.
Payments collected for unperformed maintenance services will be eligible for a refund.
If no contracted maintenance services were provided during the annual agreement, Bright Fix will refund the payments collected for those maintenance services.
If only some contracted visits were completed, Bright Fix will reconcile the completed and unperformed services according to the individual plan agreement.
Customers may submit a cancellation or refund request through the designated section of the Bright Fix website.
Bright Fix will review the customer's service history and payment records to determine the applicable refund.
Nothing in this section requires a customer to wait until contract expiration to exercise a legal right arising from Bright Fix's failure to provide contracted services.
19. CANCELLATION REQUEST PROCEDURE
Customers may request cancellation of a maintenance plan through the designated cancellation section on:
Cancellation requests may also be submitted by email to:
The online cancellation section may request the following information:
- Customer's full name.
- Contact information.
- Service address.
- Maintenance plan.
- Contract or account reference, if available.
- Requested cancellation date.
- Reason for cancellation, if the customer wishes to provide one.
Bright Fix will review the request and communicate any applicable outstanding balance or refund.
The cancellation process will not require customers to waive statutory rights or pay a disputed amount merely to submit a request.
Cancellation rights and effective dates remain subject to applicable law.
20. MAINTENANCE PLAN EXPIRATION AND RENEWAL
Annual maintenance agreements expire at the end of their twelve-month contractual term unless the customer affirmatively agrees to a new agreement.
Bright Fix will not automatically renew a maintenance plan without the customer's appropriate authorization.
Renewal prices, covered equipment, service frequency, and applicable conditions will be disclosed before a new agreement is accepted.

Customers should notify Bright Fix as soon as reasonably possible when requesting an appointment cancellation or change.

22. ADDITIONAL PARTS, MATERIALS AND SERVICES

25. SAFETY AND SERVICE REFUSAL
Bright Fix may postpone, suspend, or decline work when unsafe conditions are identified.
These conditions may include hazardous electrical connections, water leakage, incompatible equipment, or other circumstances that prevent safe service.
Customers will be informed of material safety concerns identified during the appointment.
